Hey everyone, posting in regards to availability of Diezel amps in Australia - I'm quite keen to get my hands on a Herbert or Einstein by at least the end of 2008, and just had a few questions as to how I'd go about achieving that.

- I've scoured every guitar store I know to exist in Australia that has a website, and none of them stock - let alone know about - Diezel products. Have I missed any, or is the dealership list on Diezel's swiss site as depressingly meager as it shows itself to be?

- Working on the above question, prices for the Herbert on the listed USA dealer on Diezel's swiss site, I'd supposedly be looking at spending $4500 to $4700 (AUD) for one, and another $1500 for one of the new 4x12 cabinets. Is this a reliable estimate, or would I be looking at a much higher price (import/shipping costs and such) because of my location (Western Australia, to be precise).

Just those two for now, but anything else I should know would be much appreciated.

Cheers.

Hey Archie

I do know of the a dealer in Australia. they are.

http://www.energy-automation.iinet.net. ... /home.html

The Herbert is currently going for 5650 atm and a VH4 is 5900...i've emailed him before and he states that he can give 150-450 off the price depending on which amp i choose. Plus they are based in Perth & shipping to Melbourne is free.
One other note...he's the only dealer and he never really answer's your questions right..ie i asked if i could fly down from melbourne to test one out..and he'd reply back for my other questions but did not answer that one...So he's a bit of a wired guy.

Hope this helps (Y)
