Hey guys im new on here and looking at purchasing a Diezel. I was hoping someone would be able to help me with some information. A Diezel is forsale but it is an older model which i am not sure about and the description is vague, as this is the only information about the amp- legendary Diezel-Guitar-Amp, 100Watts mono, 3.5 channels, handwired, in a Marshall case, one of the first ever made (about 1991) - collector's item (surf the web!).

I idealy would like to know if anyone has any information at all about this amp, and how it compares in sound to the Vh4 as i play mainly old rock and 90s underground dark prog rock/metal aswell as more melodic softer stuff too, TOOL, opeth, alice in chains, pink floyd, hendrex, led zepplin etc

Any information at aall will be greatly appreciated

Kindest regards
Ian

The Diezel company starts in 1993, so it should be
a Marshall mod. Has nothing to do with the current
models.

Welcome to the board,

Peter

Thanks for that information Peter it is much appreciated!
I look forward to doing buseniss with Diezel in the futre easily the best Amp company in the world

Ian

I think the amp i am talking about is the same amp that sambrowne is talking about in his post one of the first Diezels ever made?!

Could it be modded to fill out the low end and more gain or would i be better off buying a Vh4?

Thanks Peter

You are correct Mr HSV, I'm going to pass on it and hold out for a VH4 though since it seems it's more a (heavily) modded Marshall than a "real" Diezel. Still a sweet buy for $1200 though aye?

Yeah it did seem a good buy at $1200 but I am in the same way of thinking of getting a Vh4 :D

Thanks for your input Peter it really is good to see someone with the attention to customer satisfaction that you have it just makes the whole thought of Diezel that much better!!!!! and to you sam i wish all the best about you getting your Vh4 mate

Kindest regards
Ian
