Hey guys, i've got a chance to pick up a rearloaded Diezel 2x12. It's loaded with Diezel's Custom Eminence speakers. However, I haven't been able to find a lot of info on the Diezel 2x12s, or the custom speakers. I've read that the speakers are somewhat Greenback like.
So, I figured some people here could give me some insight. What sort of characteristics do both the cabinet, and speakers exhibit? I like a cabinet with tons of spread, I hate directional cabinets. (Thats a huge reason why i'm dumping my Orange 4x12) I also hate a loose, saggy, or especially "woofy" low end. It needs to stay virgin tight and precise. I play different types of metal, and a lot of times use large, complex chords, so the sound cannot be too "congested", it needs to be surgically clear, and articulate. I'll likely be placing it on top of an 8 or 10 space rack as well to get it a little closer to ear level if that helps.
Its not a huge deal if the speakers end up not being my thing, I can swap em out a little later. If you know of a speaker or combo that would suit me better, lemme know.
Cheers!
