Hey Guys,

Browsing Peter's site I saw the new Schmidt model they have coming out. Peter or anyone else can you shed some light on what this amp is going for tone and sound wise? I have a Einstein and a Herbert and love Peter's amps so I am real interested in what he is doing with the Schmidt series?

SPECS FROM THE DIEZEL WEBSITE
Standard Schmidt: Class A, EL34 or 6V6GTs, serial/parallel loop, 2 channels plus adjustable boost for channel 2, reverb, black tolex. Custom footswitch (channel 1/2, boost, reverb, loop) included. Head or Combo.

Custom Schmidt: Class A, EL34 or 6V6GTs, serial/parallel loop, 2 channels plus adjustable boost for channel 2, reverb, b/w tolex. Reconed V30s semi-open custom tolexed 2x12" as shown in Frankfurt. Custom footswitch (channel 1/2, boost, reverb, loop) included.

Production will start this summer. Stay tuned for prices/availablity and any changes.

Very soon . . . sorry, can't tell you more. Just a bit (weeks, not months) more patience.

I love the tolex work on that amp, it's incredibly beautiful!

by the way olaf, is this amp voiced "british" or more "american" ?

It is voiced "Diezel-ClassA-with-Reverb-covering-too-many-styles-to-mention " :D

ehehe alright.....

well I'm a happy lad because my little joe is just that and more! :D :D (only needs reverb to match)

Lexicon MPX or something is enough IMO.
At home I'm using an Excalibur Analog Delay (pedal) in the loop now. Sounds cool. 75 Euros or so . . .
