Serial tolex will be like this:

I got to say the Schmidt looks (as in from an aesthetic point of view) terrible to me. It's like a total ripoff of the Egnater Tourmaster looks with a Diezel badge that doesn't fit at all. Even though I feel the Diezel's generally look rather generic and dull on the outside, that look would fit the Schmidt better and be more in line with the rest of the amp models.

Olaf, how's the clean/texas channel compared to the Einstein?

Einstein is Class A/B, Schmidt is Class A with a reverb. Totally different.

Sorry olaf, I'm no expert with the class A/B class A type of amps.

I guess I'll have to test the Schimdt to really hear how it plays :D

I love white for some reason. Was actually thinking how nice something like this would look. I plan on getting a new white cab as soon as I get some bills paid off :D

For the most part I definitely have to agree. It's not a bad look, but if you showed me the front, with no logos or anything, Diezel certainly wouldn't come to mind.

If you take the white/black combination, then I'd agree with you, but I LOVE that combination..... I'm not diggin' the way the logo looks, neither the black panel where the knobs are.

I love the black behind the knobs, I love the way the tolex looks too. Only thing I think should be different is a big metal Diezel logo in brushed aluminum or chrome and the lettering(bass, mids, treb, ect, ect) on it should be in silver, I think it would look ultra classy then. Oh yeah the tolex color scheme would be awesome in a burgandy and cream, accept the lettering would need to be white again.

I really love it... (I said it on the other thread).

At the first time.. it was something like.. hey !! this is new... different...strange... but now I wouldnt like to get it in the standard way, black and S&P...

If I had to choose the best logo combination for this color scheme... I think this should be the one:

Inverse logo:

I really hope they offer this color scheme (and if possible, with this logo ... it would be killer)

(just my 2cents)...

The black/white isn't the serial tolex. See pic above.

Ops... I didnt see it...

In any case, What a pity :$ ... the B&W is amazing !!!

The B&W w/ the inverse logo would be something to seriously consider you guys.

Why discussing tolex colour schemes; if it sounds right, I would even do with a non tolexed version! We need clips! :)

I am interested to get a 'portable amp" head that will complement my main rig. is it easy to carry??
Oh, and what's the reason (soundwise) to bring out an oversized open back cabinet with 2x12".
... I thought a closed cabinet adds fundament to the sound, making sounds more full/round, and projects more to the front...isn't it?
That's why I left my first combo amp (wasn't a Diezel back then... ;)

"The facts: 2 channels, 2 tone stacks, 2 EL34´s (SED´s), Reverb per channel, boost, loop (controlable from serial to parallel), .........
channel one: awesome clean, close to very good boogies or fenders, just rev., tone stack and volume.
channel two: unbelievable awesome, from right between the eyes to more bluesy sounds, rev., tone stack, gain, vol., boost.....
Reverb sounds very very good, a cathedral´s no problem!"

makes me wonder.. do we have a another winner here?

If it says "Diezel" on it, you could deliver it to me in a paper bag and I would be happy.
