Wow man - that opening chord is pretty F'ing awesome! I too am looking forward to hearing the finished product. Are you recording this in a home/project studio?

Yep with a Shure Beta 57 and a Presonus Firestudio Project. Bass is a Fender Blacktop P bass into a pod x3.
Drums are Steven Slate 4 EX samples programmed with FL Studio.

That is the last song I would think of in the entire Universe when I think of playing a Diezel and yet it was awesome. Great job. That amp sounds PHAT!

I just recorded 2 rhythm tracks per side. Left is my '74 Fender Strat with Dimarzio Billy Corgan humbuckers,
Right is my PRS Singlecut with a Duncan JB. It's sounding massive. I should have it up later tonight with synths and clean guitars. I'm going to ask a friend tonight if he wants to record vocals for it.

Sounds awesome! What cab is that? Diezel 412FL V30? How do you place your mic? Is there much post processing on guitar tracks?

Sorry for a lot of questions, just struggling to get a tone like this with my Herbert.

It's a Mesa Traditional 4x12. The only post processing is a low-pass filter. I typically use the Butch Vig micing technique. I tend to get the best clarity when i do this.

"Vig’s miking technique was as follows: Corgan would crank up his amp to full gain, and then set the guitar down. After boosting the headphones send on all the mics, Vig entered the room to move around the mics, using the phase-shifting hiss from Corgan’s guitar echo as his guide"
