Hey!

Just looking for some opinions and insight in to what you think would be the best option between both the Diezel Vh2 and the Orange Rockerverb. Both are similar price and look appealing to me. Anyone have either that can comment? :)

I love the tone of the Orange in this video

But i also have always wanted a Diezel vh4 and the vh2 could be a more unique choice.

I mainly play Lead guitar with delay and octave. Here is a link to my band for an idea of style.

Thanks!

I have a VH2 and love it . I never had an orange rockverb but I can't imaging it would hold a candle to the diezel

Owned both as well. For me it is Diezel All the way.
Rockerverb is great. Just so mid heavy

Does the Rockerverb being mid heavy not help cut through the mix?

Also what are best tubes for the Diezel vh2? Does it sound amazing with standard ones?

Thanks!

Yeah I feel like these are not quite an apples to apples comparison. Like not a lot of crossover in tones. My answer, both for different applications. If I had to pick one it'd be the VH2.

Hey, I know this thread is a bit old. But I own the VH4 and Rockerverb MKIII 100-watt. The Rockerverb is great, no question. But the gain channel is not really in the same genre as the VH4. The VH4 is tighter and more immediate sounding when you play palm-mutes. The Rockerverb is out and out sludge, which is a great thing. It's just too different to really compare to the Diezels imho.

Hey dude, your band sounds damn good!! Just checked out your site - great sounding tracks!!

Just saying. And ya, there's an unmistakable Diezel thing going on there.

Thanks so much Peter! Means a lot coming from you.

After a lot of consideration I have decided to go for a VH-2 as long as I can find somewhere within the UK or EU that can supply with finance at a reasonable price.

I am currently endorsed by Blackstar amps and also been offered a very good deal with Victory Amps but Diezel has always been my dream amp! :P

I don't suppose on the off chance, you offer any similar artist deals Peter?

Thanks

David

FWIW:
If it is a coin flip for you, go with Diezel. Peter's customer service is amazing. Orange, on the other hand, neglected to even acknowledge or reply to several emails, private messages, and voicemails I left for them regarding a simple question. Plus, most techs will tell you that on the inside a Diezel is magnificent whereas an Orange may be less so. DIEZEL.

Not really my experience tbh. I've been to their offices, tried out a ton of amps, chatted to them, had a cuppa tea. Had good tech support with them. And their amps are built very well.

I love Diezel amps, but Oranges aint no slouch!
