Diezel VH4 and Diezel 412FC

Hi guys.

I just want to know where I have to insert the cable from the Diezel 412FC Box to the VH4.
From the 16/8 Mono Side A to the VH4
There are 5 options:

1x4 2x16
2x8 1x8

and a lonely 16

Plug it in any of the 1 x 8 ohm or 2 x 16 ohm jacks

Ok, as I supposed
But could anyone explain me why into the 2x16 oder 1x8 jack ?
