Diezel VH4 or Bogner uberschall?

Hey Folks,
I'm new in this forum and I'm getting really confused between getting a Diezel VH4 or a Bogner uberschall rev blue? :confused:
I'm a huge fan of Bogner since I own some of them but I would love to try something else or maybe better. :)
I'm looking for a big crunchy thick tight smooth gain not too loose not too compressed with huge bottom end and clear nice top end with a sharp mids that shake walls and shred faces :rock:
What do you suggest?

You are in the Diezel forums... you know what people will most likely suggest. Best suggestion: you try them both, see how YOU like them and pick the one YOU like better. There is no other way. Both got great products.
 
That's a lot of adjectives. Big could apply to both. Crunchy, Tight = VH4. Smooth, Thick = Bogner. The Bogner is looser. The VH4 is more compressed. Both have plenty of bottom end. The VH4 is more middy.
 
I would say the VH4 would work well...

That and possibly the Hagen.
 
That's what I figured! I have never tried a Diezel amps :(

This is why... I've tried _many_ amps. Ultimately? I own both Diezel and Bogner. They've got their own thing going on, and I can't live [happily] without either. The XTC and TwinJet, and the Hagen and VH4. Expensive tastes, but man, they're the cream of the crop when it comes to what my ears love to hear.

Both are wonderful amps. I would consider VH4 to be more versatile and dry (very focused midds), but on the other hand Bogner being a bit more "loose" (in a very good way) and thick. Personally I would say Überschall is closer to Herbert than VH4, but some might disagree on that.

You MUST try both before deciding, if only you have that possibility.
 
I feel that the Vh4 is definitely the right amp for me!!
Which cabinet match the Vh4 better the Bogner uberkab with X patt V30s and G12 or the mesa with V30s?

I like the Bogner cab more... That and the VHT/FRYETTE cabs and the Diezel cabs.

Mesa is good too, but I think the bogner with those speakers will claim your heart... and SOUL :student:
 
Best cab for a Diezel IMHO, YMMV, is the FL412G12K100

I believe I'm gonna stick with my newer Uber cab. I might get anther uberkab with all V30s. I believe it's gonna sound better with the VH4 according what I have read.
The über Rev2 put the bar so high that is very hard to find an amp that get closer. I'm sure the VH4 will do the work :)
 
Ive played both, only owned a VH4. Ive also owned lots of amps, but that collection is down to 2. The VH4 is still there.

I've got KT77 in mine. I think they're my favorite of the usual suspects.
 
I can't wait to get my VH4! Hope it will sound good with an ubercab X patt V30s and G12s

Nice!! I was thinking to put Sovtek 6550WE Power tubes but Iet's start with the KT77. :)
