Hey, does anyone on this forum use a Diezel VH4 & PRS Mike Mushok baritone guitar? If so, do you have any sound clips or videos?
I have the Diezel VH4 and I already tried the guitar and loved it, but never had a chance to try it with my amp

Mike Mushok is very much like Shecters from my very brief examination of it. If I were you. I'd change the pickups in it & the sound should be immense.

Hi

I used the Herbert with the Ibanez MMM1 which is the predecessor of the PRS Mike Mushok. If you are also interested in sound files please let me know.

My opinion about this. Tons of bass. Lack of highs. But my recording room and my cabinet can also be the reason for this. In fact I had to pull in highs in the mix. I tried a LTD Baritone with the same setup which was better in my ears. The active EMG PUs in the LTD can be a reason for this.

Hey guys thanks a lot for the info. Question for you Don, can you please snd some sound clips of you using the Herbert and your Ibanez MMM1?

Hi

Here it is:

Don't expect too much. It is a homerecorded song which has not been mastered. Unfortunately after mixing the guitars the song got stuck (like every song the last 2 years  ).

Hey Don, thanks a lot for the clip. I actually thought it was really cool. I actually love the way the Mike Mushok Ibanez sounds with your Herbert. Nice punchy lows with cool highs. :) Even though you said you added highs in the mix after it was recorded, still sounds good.
I think Im gonna take a chance and pick up the PRS Mike Mushok, and if the sound isnt great, Ill definitely swap the bass pickup for something else.
