diezel VH4 question

Considering I really want to own How much are they worth? Like retail value of a new one. I am so confused... everywhere I look its so different. Like they say retail is 3,900.00 so our price is 3,800.00 or retail is 5,000 so our price is 4,700 and every price in between. Its hard trying to figure out what's right and not. The place that sold it at 3,800 was called guitar attic and I heard they get theirs through illegitimate means and they are not covered by warranty. I just don't wanna get screwed around haha.

TL;DR: I want to know the actual retail value of a new VH4 and where to buy from that's trust worthy.

I've yet to see the price lower than $3850 new, and from a legit dealer, which is what matters.
