Lightening struck right outside my den window the other day. It scared the crap out of me, and it fried my DVR, wireless modem, Line 6 pod xt live, tuner, and eq. I had a surge protector...
I held my breath as I turned on my 2 week old VH4, and the holy grail fired right up. THANK GOD, I would've died if it got toasted.
Any advice, besides the obvious - unplugging during storms?
Are more expensive surge protectors worth the $?
