Diezel VH4 volume changes

Hi Guys,
I've had a Diezel VH4 for the past 5 or 6 years and love the versatility and terrific sound of this amp. I gig with it and play it at home all the time. Recently I've noticed that the volume changes when i am playing, even when I am on the same channel. The volume will spike up to double the volume it was at and then come back down to the same volume. I took it to a local repair guy and he replaced the channel 3 tube (because at the time I thought it was just happening on the 3rd channel, however it seems to be happening on all 4 channels). Any thoughts or ideas on what could be causing this and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance for any advice
Steve

Could be a another tube, but this is pure guesswork. It sounds like it needs an in-person assessment by a competent tech. Did the last guy just replace a single preamp tube at your request, or did he actually service and test it? Seems like he missed something big.

Check the serial loop - mine was making doing something similar a few years back - I tried and couldn't figure it out .. local tech tracked it down to some corrosion in the loops internal connection.

The tubes were replaced a year and a half ago (all tubes), but then when I noticed the volume issue a few months ago, I took it back to the same guy and he just replaced the channel 3 tube. Obviously that did not fix the issue. Other than the folks in California, are there any other Diezel repair shops around?
