So, my first post here,

Here goes ;)
My name is Shon, a 20 year old guitarist form the Netherlands,

A few months ago I bought a new VH4S, but they didn’t have a matching cab for it.
No problem, I send an email to Peter Diezel, he forwarded it to Peter Stapfer who at the time was at NAMM. Just my luck ;)

Fast forward some time, the cab is here and it’s looking and sounding great.
So, my thanks to Peter S. and Peter D.

Yesterday I finally had some time to get some playtime on the amp. However after a few minutes the volume dropped considerably . My first thought was a empty battery in my guitar.
So I shut the amp off and changed out the battery. However the same volume drop appeared in a few minutes of playing with a new battery.

So this time I decided to take a look at the amp itself. All tubes glowing, so that was ok, now for the back. Ah, there it was, the number 2 LED was on.

However when I turned on the amp today, to check it was really number 2, the LED was off again.
So what’s wrong? Are the tubes gone? Is it just a fuse? Or is there something horribly wrong with it?

This is my first tube amp, so I have no experience with these things whatsoever. If you guys need any additional information, just ask.

is the volume drop still there? if not - dont quote me on that, but i think that one of the tubes just didnt sit tight enough in the socket!

Please replace tube #2 and the fuse #2
