fucking scums... my startpage was the website. the soundfile is killer for background :rock:

The webhost might be able to restore the website from one of their backups, it depends how they do their backup.

Guess some fuckers have nothing better to do than hack a website. Not sure what their gain would be to hack Peter's site other than to be a pest. Like a dog licks his ball because he can, the hackers continue to lick theirs too :jerkit: :jerkit: :jerkit:

looks like a rookie mistake of the admin. no big deal, it should be an easy fix. the question is who went after it & why.

The server in Germany has been hacked.

We are working on it and the police started investigation.

:scared: Police??? Whoa...

I worked in IT for 16 years and ya know, hackers tended to be early teen iPod, iPhone, PS3 playing, MSN messaging, reclusive nutsack weirdoes that liked to be 'different' and let people know they were in control. Remember the Sasser virus?? Well it was a 14 or 15 year old from Germany who created it and upon his being found out, apparently the authorities said he could be penalized in the usual way (do time upon his coming of age) or get to work for the German government in helping them in their hi-tech umbrella. Interesting.

ANYWAY - point being, there are sniffers out there that do all the hacking automatically - when there's a breach in the code, a script will find it and get in and plunk itself down to stake claim. Gotta watch SSL ports and active imbedded programs.

Good luck finding out the troublemaker(s) and getting back on track!!!!!!

Those are called script-kiddies, not hackers... ;)

A script kiddie doesn't know what this does:
#!/usr/bin/perl

use Net::Telnet;
$telnet = new Net::Telnet ( Timeout=>30,
Port=>25,
Errmode=>'die');
$telnet->open('mail.foo.com');
$telnet->waitfor('/220/');
$telnet->print('hello just-testing.org');
($output)=$telnet->waitfor('/250/');
$telnet->print('quit');

;)

So long as no one hacks my VH4S....script kiddy or not!! :boxer:

Hahahahahaha!!!!!

I suppose that's not impossible. Infect a progarammable midi enabled device, a PC will do this job nicely, and send random MIDI switches down the line.

Hey Peter, does the MIDI controller use an eeprom? :D

Sorry to hear this Peter. Some people cannot stop training his foolishness... :doh:
