any Digitech 2101 users out there ?
i have a few questions on algorithms :?

i talked my friend into going rack and he got one of these. gotta say, it sounds great but damn it's hard to navigate.

I agree with you there
its got tons of stuff to work and watch after :o
but the sound is Best ive heard in a rack unit with all this stuff in it

it would be cool if you could pass a question to your friend for me

althrough my algorithms are simple i found then to be very effective
but when i plug up to the main board it sounds kind of harsh at times
so im wondering if i should turn down or off the > Master Mixer < at the end of the chain before going to the board

guess you could say im also new to the rack
so its a bit fustrateing too

id also like to know how we can download some of those patch's from the old site if he may know how to get the information
im not haveing much luck ?

thanks for the reply :)

Ditto. Sounds good but is a nusiance to use.

I had a hard time getting it to work in the effects loop of a head. It worked best through a stereo power amp.

I had the 2101 Artist. Bought in new when it first came out and sold it damn near new two years ago.

mine is new
it came from a friend of a friend who tours professionally
you can say it was the spare in a unopened box
for $100 buck's  works perfect and im enjoying setting up the algorithms my way of course these are off the wall

but im loveing the ALBUM TONES im getting from the unit
my friends are loving it too
cant seem to think straight
when it comes to going to WORK or RAISEING HELL
so i got 2 weeks after this weeks vacation tme
to record some tracks

i dont have any problems setting mine up in the loop
that is as long as every thing was setup correctly
( that manules killer )

ive used it in 3 setup configureations

AMP / RACK / PHONES OUT INTO ACTICE KEYBOARD MONITORS
and it sounds great ! thanks for the reply :)
