Hey Guys-
Has anyone used the 1101 and footcontroller with their Einstein (or similar unit)? Is there any way to switch the Einstein using the footcontroller? I've had the mod on the Einstein done which makes the modes footswitchable. I have the Digitech unit and I'm wondering what's the best way to use the unit with the Einstein. Just looking to expand the variety of tones I can get for "live" use.
The options as I understand them would be:
1. Run the unit in front of the amp and utilize the "bypass" feature when I don't want to add FX so as to avoid "coloring" the amp's tone. I would obviously still use the Einstein footswitch to change channels/modes.
2. I could run the Digitech unit into the FX return or use the 4 cable method.
What other units would allow me to do this (ie., control switching via a footcontroller as well as add FX)?
Ideally, what I'd like to do is add effects to each mode including the lead channel so that when engaged, the effects will engage automatically (to eliminate "tap dancing").
Thanks in advance!
