I just bought a Digitech GSP21 Pro off craigslist for $60. I hooked it up to my computer it sounds pretty good lots of usable tones and effects. I went ahead and hooked it up to my pa with powered ev speakers and it sounds good to, anyway It didn't come with a foot controller. I just bought it to mess around with. I went ahead and ordered a new Battery and the Legend 2.30 chip for it, so for a total of around 100 bucks for unit and upgrades not to bad. I'm not sure if I will buy a foot controller for it or not. like I said I just bought it to mess around with. I never had one back in the day, not a bad unit.

I just talked to Brian yesterday to funny. all is good. it has been a long time.

Congrats! I bought one of these new way back, 91 I think...I had a mini rack with it and an MP1 with a Mosvalve power amp. If I'm honest I used the 21 patches more; I had 1 favorite in the MP1 but the rest was GSP 21. Had that thing for years. I think it was 800 bucks new? Got lots of compliments on my tone back then. I was going after a Ty Tabor thing. Even though he never used one. Lol

I remember when these came out. Really good for it's time and you can still get some great sounds with it.

I borrowed one from a friend and nailed the ending solo from “Fade to Black” for the first time, probably 15/16 years old.

From that moment forward, I knew I had “It.” Thanks DigiTech!

Those are pretty fun! I see the foot controllers pop up all the time for $0-$50.

I used one for chorus/delay for a while before I got my G-Force. I kept it on all the time but would just turn the delay/chorus on and off with the pedalboard. My bass player owned it and let me borrow it for a while.

Not too different from a Quadraverb GT. I’d love to have a little 80’s/90’s fun-rack with a 21, 2101, Quadraverb GT and I dunno....maybe that chrome-faced Digitech unit for good measure. Can’t remember what it was, it was a single-space thing that came out shortly after the 2101.
