DiMarzio Dark Matter 2

Hi,
Anyone have any experience with the Dark Matter 2 DiMarzio's? Kind of an interesting combo of low wind output with a ceramic magnet. There doesn't seem to be much info out there. Just checking (y)

I bought a Jem Woody when they came out several years ago and it came with those pickups. It’s been a while but I remember them being low end heavy, compared to other guitars with different pickups, it sounded like a blanket over the speakers. Soloing was good, full sounding and no piercing notes, but didn’t like the EQ curve of the pickups.

However, I could easily dial the amp and pedals to compensate for the darkness. So you can definitely get a good sound with them, probably work well in a bright guitar. I ended up selling the Jem guitar.
