Man i miss Dime! I never even got to meet him but after all the footage and videos i saw of him... it almost feels like he was a close friend of mine or something!

i was lucky enough to hang with him five days before he died in connecticut. i was still high from hanging with him when i heard the news. i got a couple shots from my camera phone

Cool.

Do you think Dean will always trade off of his name nowadays though?

I think Dean is the worst example of this personally. Oh and Krank.

The Les Paul is one of the most legendary guitars ever made. You can't compare that to a Dean. Also I don't recall Jackson making 500 different versions of the RRV.

Sure they have......just not different variations. Roswell RR, USA, imports, bolt-ons, shitloads of customshops, etc.....

I dont hold Dean to that, It's Rita and Vinnie wanting to get all of Dimes drawings made that he wanted built, hell the drawings even had prices on them that he wanted charged for them, so they wouldn't be outrageously priced (although some of them are). I dont blame them really, if it were my brother I'd want to do eveything I could to keep his legacy alive, although I think it's abit overkill.....
