I saw that. Quite the collection. Seems like he had a few of every Randall ever made. :D

I'd kill for one of those Century 200 heads.

I love the amps in the big cages. They had those when I saw them.

Honestly, I'm glad I got the one thats on the way today. The RG200ES, It's the C-200 Pre with the RG100ES power section, the C-200 was short lived because it had issues with the Poweramp, and the C-200II just didnt take off, so they axed them.

I'll report back later with a review the the 200ES once it arrives. :D

Cool pics!! Thanks for the post. Dime was a great guitarist and person.

Anybody ever try one of those Warheads ? How do they sound ?
Nice pictures

I never tried one, but Dime only used them for cleans... he used his main C-200's for his distorted tones!

Id definitly take a C-200, i already have an RG100ES which is awesome!

I was curious about that because his endorsement for the Warhead seemed to have come and go in a flash.

I've talked to alot of people who hated them, but loved the RG amps. Me personally, I loved it GREAT amps, tons of power,, and EXTREMELY versitile, I could get tons of killer tones out of it. I'm DEFINETELY getting another one soon.

I want an RG100ES. Sell me one.

Dave, keep an eye on Ebay or even the Dean Guitars Forum in the Trading Post. Thats probably the best place to look, as there are many Dimebag fans who buy and sell the same type of gear he used (Randall RG's and C-200's, Furman PQ-3's and PQ-4's, MXR 6band's etc!)

I have a 1985 or 86 RG100ES, cant remember the exact date. But its a great amp when matched up with the right cab! Think Lynch Under Lock and Key + Tooth and Nail tones when hooked up to a H30 or Greenback cab!

Cool.

I want an amp I can play and leave on while surfing the net...and not have to worry about tubes all the while getting killer tones ;)

How do you mean "worry about tubes"? If I'm surfing the net, I'll sit and play my tube amps. Unless of course it's the dead of night, when I enter a whole new realm of tone with the V-Amp 2.

Well the RG100ES/RG80ES would do fine for that! And they go for low prices on Ebay too.. i got my RG100ES with the footswitch for $300

I have heard that some guys say the RG100HT (rackmount version) sounds better and has more gain than the RG100ES. I saw a youtube vid of the HT model a while back, and unboosted it had a fair bit more gain than my RG100ES.

Maybe look out for one of those instead?

:inlove: FUCK YEAH :rawk:

oh sorry yeah the amps are nice too. the avater distracted me :D

his century 200II has the same settings as mine at the moment

i was thinking about it but its in pretty mint shape and i know id be kicking myself in the ass if i got rid of it. its really not much different than the rg100es i have, its a little tighter and maybe a little brighter but isnt quite as thick. same voicing pretty much though.

The HT is the rack version (see new thread) The H was the designation that US Music corp gave the ES after they bought the company. Dont know if they changed the circuit or not, but supposedly the same......
