Hey! I just learned today that Dean Cascione got to record his contribution to 'Magic - a tribute to Ronnie James Dio' with an instrumental version of 'Never More' using the aluminum finish stompbox (pictured above) that I built for him.
Here is a 30 second sample clip from the new "Magic: A Tribute To Ronnie James Dio" album that has Dean Cascione's instrumental interpretation of Never More played with my 250 clone just to get a feel what it sounds like on a professional studio recording. Dean is also using my pedal to record his new album coming out soon called Neoclassical Fire.
Anyway, this is my first listen of what my gray DOD 250 Overdrive clone actually sounds like in a studio recording!
P.S. I'm also aware there is unfounded controversy with supposed motives for making this first Dio tribute album since his passing. Dio's son Dan Padavona recently confirmed that the Magic Circle music label is directing the profits to charity; just so there are no thoughts about any greed being involved.
