Do I need to buy a UK 240V Diezel here or is 230V ok?

Just curious, if I were to purchase a Diezel from a German store or something.

Its better to get a 240V model IMO.

Or - depending on the model - you could have a tech rewire it, which isn't a big deal for many of them. You need to make sure it has a "twin" powertransformer. And if something goes wrong the UK distributor may refuse to help and you might run into high(er) shipping costs.

Buy in the UK ;)

Yeah I guess so. What's the reason for the difference? Aren't we pretty much on 230V here now anyway?

Sorry, no idea. Check with your (local) supplier.
