Could I please get opinions from people that have tried these in person. I don't hear any weird mids!!!

This demo is from 2010, so do the new 2012 models have anything extra special going on that I should know about?

Can these tones be gotten at reasonable home volumes?

If they really sound this good, then why isn't every thread on rig talk talking about them?? lol

I have a street rod, and a quick rod. I actually think i like the street rod more. The clean is pretty good, and the drive is great! Actually I don't even think it sounds that good in the video above. It's a great package at that price point not for nothing.

Splawn would need to double the price for that to happen.

They're excellent amps. Be prepared to improve your technique though.

^^^^^This -- Splawn Amps are killer, but extremely unforgiving. Every little mistake will jump out and be heard by the crowd, mic, etc. The trade-off is that once you sound good through a Splawn you can pretty much own any other amp.

And, yes, both this amp and the new lower wattage Super Sport both sound awesome. Expect to see me around the Splawn booth at NAMM!

I own both, I prefer the Street Rod over the Quick Rod as it has just a hair more sag also better cleans, the vid sounds great but really the combo sounds better live! I love mine, don't think I'll ever part ways with it.
