How much money an old Jcm800 1960a Marshall cab with Celestion 70's would go for?

Thanks !

Probably about $400 give or take. 70s were never very popular.

I'm sure some 65s would bump up the price big time but 75s and 70s seem to be about the same. I think 90% of people who buy marshall cabs dont even know there are different speakers in the 800 cabs.

Mike Soldano badmouthed cele 70's in a magazine column. Now they're doomed to cheapdom until some guitar hero admits to loving them. ;)

Im sure my friend would not be selling the cab if it had the 65's!! Well I guess he would sell the cab but it would be empty!!
I actually ad no idea in the 80's that the 65's existed. All I knew about were the 75's ,greenbacks and the 80 watters.

so true!!

I am in the minority as I had the 70's in a early 90's Fender 4x12 cab and they sounded great. I have not tried them in anything else, but they worked great in that cab. Sold it to a friend that records lots of bands at his personal studio, and he ends up using it all of the time. They get some great recorded tones out of it. I kinda regret letting that cab go:(

I've seen him bad mouth V30s before and he stopped putting them in his cabs, those seem to be doing allright. I agree with him for the most part on those two speakers, although his cabs do sound good with V30s just not exactly what I like to hear.

i have the 70's in my 80's Laney cab...i love them! they are very similar to 75's though, and i think i actually have the frequency graphs for both and they are very close...a few minor differences. construction wise they look exactly the same as well, so im wondering if the only real difference is the magnet.

im not a V30 fan either...maybe im just weird
