Does placement of tone cap make any difference?

I've seen several wiring layouts where the tone cap is place in different spots as seen in the pictures below. Obviously it all functions correctly, but does it make any difference on how much highs or which treble frequencies are blead off? Or is it just different paths with the same destination?

No difference between modern and 60s wiring above. If you use the same two lugs on the tone pot but reverse which goes to ground…same thing/doesnt matter.

50s wiring retains highs better when rolling down volume BUT at the cost of your volume being slightly more impacted when rolling down the tone control. I use that on my Les Paul. For Strats, the tone controls are connected to the switch (so they act like modern/60s wiring).

Also, cap to pot to ground vs pot to cap to ground…doesn’t matter.

50's is the shit. I prefer the altered Volume Taper. You can roll back to a Clean Tone with a shorter movement which is easier to do. AND the tone is brighter..

This is with a .047uf cap wired in 50's.. I think I might try a .022 because it bleeds off less high end.
