I have posted about this elsewhere but am doing one final survey. My Boss RV-6 makes these weird sound when quickly adjusting the time control while playing/sound is being sent. I would describe it as reverberated fuzzy thunk? It does not do this when adjustments are made while not playing. I have heard previously that time based pedals like this commonly make sounds similar to this, like the processor is adjusting to the new settings and creates digital artifacts. I contacted Boss support with the below video, they confirmed their unit made similar sounds when adjustments to the time control are made and the instrument is being played. Despite this, fellow owners of this pedal responding to previous inquiries regarding this have not experienced such sounds emitting from their pedal. I notice it prominently on settings with a more digital effect like modulate, hall, dynamic, shimmer, and delay. It is more noticeable when the effect level is increased as well. This only happens when quickly adjusting the time while something is being played, which isn't really a situation this pedal would normally be put in. Gradual adjustments in this scenario do not have the same effect. Just curious if other Boss RV units/ reverb pedals do this or is mine doing it loudly, mildly concerned but maybe it's fine? It works fine otherwise and sounds great, lotsa fun. Thanks for replies, here is a video demonstrating what I have experienced.
