I know 'Pull me under'
Not really a fan of that either
Does this mean he's back with the band or is this a one off?

They sound great! Portnoy is back after leaving for a spell, being replaced by Mike Mangini, and coming back into the fold last year.

Dream Theater is a live band. I did not appreciate them until I saw them live back around 1998. Each member is a MONSTER player. The singers voice is shot and was divisive back in his hey day, but he’s over 60 now, no young pup. And nobody goes to the shows for the singing. Ha

I remember seeing them in a club (Axis? on Landsdowne) in Boston while they were touring Images and Words. The scene was all a buzz and being in Berklee at the time, a lot of the proggy metal students were all over it…..My God, it was boring. I had just seen (or maybe right after) Rollins band, touring End of Silence in the same club, which was a series of hand grenades going off on stage (was amazing) and DT was the complete opposite. Just sucked the life out of the room. Left after a few songs.

im sure there were many males in the audience that enjoyed the show

I took my then girlfriend to a show in 2000 for the Metropolis 2 tour and she was like the only girl there. 😂

She wound up loving them and went to the next show the next year.

Surprised Labrie managed to get inside the venue being that out of key
