Droolworthy guitars

Nice builds but neither really screams private stock to me. Not that tops are the only aspect of a quality build but given how Private Stock isn't offering much more than wood, color, hardware, Inlay selection the upcharge for these builds doesn't seem worth it to me.

PRS never did anything to motivate me to buy. Also not a fan of fancy wood tops that look like they belong on formal dining room furniture. Or relics...

but it's our money, to buy what we like.

15g's.....

They are pretty. I like fancy tops but I can get like 3 USA ESP's with fancy tops for the price of one of those.

They're 2 links to beautiful guitars.
OK I finally clicked on them. I’ve kind of wanted a DGT for a while now but none of the fancy tops/inlays/etc. Just a plain top with moons is more my style.

For whatever reason I’ve really come to dislike the look of fancy tops and finishes over the years. A relatively plain looking Greeny type top is perfect for me. They look more like musical instruments that were built to make music; function over form.

Form over function just doesn’t work for my simple engineer background brain.

There's a 594 locally on marketplace that's been screaming at me.

Beautiful except that the toggle switch location throws it off for me. It just looks wrong there on a double cutaway shape.
Aesthetically, I'm not a huge fan, but with a 4 knob layout, that's where I'd prefer it.

His asking price is reasonable too, if it were a single cut, I'd be a few bucks poorer already.

There's a cobalt blue one from another seller that's absolutely ridiculous, but I'm not dropping $4k for it.
