Soilwork is in B standard, In flames is in C standard (for the most part), and Arch Enemy is also in C standard.

The New God Forbid called Earthsblood and the latest from The Haunted. Also look into the album Down II.

bmth are drop b flat on the new album, plus machine head tune slightly sharp of b on the blackening. mess around with some other metal songs that are in standard in those tunings

Earthsblood was recorded with 7 string guitars was it not? I just assumed they were in B standard.

Could be 7 strings, but I thought it was drop B. I'm not too fond of the tuning on that album.
Their new Randall RM heads sound great though.

The pictures on their MySpace page show them recording with LTD 7 strings. I guess they could still play in some sort of drop B tuning though. I think Unearth does that?
