Dusenbergs are really good guitars. The only issue I have is the company is a little secretive about them being Korean built, finished in Germany (or USA).

We have a few out on the road. Very nice guitars and well made.

Cool guitars! I have a 440 model, very well made, fit and finish second to none, and great tones, check one out!

I've seen a few of those for 2K plus so I hope they're not Korean made. The few I've played were nice guitars and had character but not enough to sway me on the price.

lol woodwork in korea...assembled in germany. Sounds like you paying for the plane ride between countries.

So how did you find out that they were Korean made? I see it listed on Wikipedia, https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Duesenberg_Guitars
Huge thread on TGP did all the legwork for me. The consensus is that regardless where they're made, they're really good, and probably worth the money.

I played one a few months back. I loves the center position sound, but it only sounded great on a very clean amp with a "scooped" kind of EQ. With a Fender amp type of clean I didn't think it sounded that great.

Good to know. I have been gasing for a Gibson ES-339 or ES-335, but the Dusenberg Mike Campbell did catch my eye, love the looks. Nearest dealer is a 2.5 hour drive though, so not that easy to give one a test run. :(
