so this past week i sold my eg2 and bought an SL2, both to fellow forumites. I played a few gigs with nothing in slot 2 of my mod 50. Does eggie sell blank dummy cards to keep the insides safe and sound??? Just curious =D

How about a nice custom solid state CRATE module? It would serve the same purpose: Have zero tone and just take up space.

Hahaha JK. :D

That's a good idea though, for some sort of cover plate.

So you can safely fire up the Mod50 even with a blank space, huh? Cool.

I know both Egnater and Randall used to sell covers for this purpose. Its not a dummy module though. There is no board. Its literally just a blank plate that screws on to cover the slot.

But we are all module whores ;) so they probably never sold any of them! HAHAHAHAHA

Just stuff a sock or something that isn't conductive inside the slot to keep dust out... that's what I did while I was swapping through various modules.

its cool it wont happen again from now on ill always have 2,3,4 maybe 5 mods lying around rdy to fill in =D

If they don't sell something for this purpose and you really want it you could go to your local hardware store and easily make something. A piece of plastic, couple screws, tape measure, and a drill would more than likely get the job done. Just a suggestion.

The black thong off that hot blonde up front works well for this purpose.

Just sayin'
