E-Rect help.

Hey guys,

I really like the E-Rect BUT I want it tighter. I email Jeff and he can make it tighter. In fact, I was going to trace it out and make it tighter myself. I just don't have the time right now so I might send it in.

Anyway, of those who have made it tighter. Do you notice it changes the lead voice much? Basically I want it tighter but want to be able to use the bass boosts to make it bassier. Right now I can't use the bass boosts.......too bassy.

Rich,I'm sure Jeff can do.Dave did one for me and turned it into an animal!!I just think my blood is in the Marshall vein :D I really didn't care for the stock Erect until it got modded.
 
Just needs less flub in the lows. It seems to have enough growl.
 
Jeff modded mine to be tighter and it really helped. It also enabled me to run the gain a little hotter without getting muddy. It didn't seem to change the tone of it at all. I'd highly recommend sending it to Jeff.

Thanks man, I don't need more gain, just tighter but I want the ability to get bassy with the bass boosts though. I want tight when they are off. How about the growl factor? Did he add any growl, make it meaner?
 
No it didn't change the tone or make it meaner. Just tighter.

I think the Erect is such a great module, so fat and full. Even does leads well. I don't know if it needs more gain as some say or to be meaner. I think it has over the top gain if you turn it to 3:00! I just think it needs the tighter bottom. :thumbsup:
