Ear Candy Green Machines??

Anyone using Ear Candy Green Machine speakers? I am eyeing a Buzzbomb, but can't afford to load it with sugar cones. Greenies any good?
 
I have the Sugar Cones in my Buzz and the Green and Clone in my Boa. all are great speakers. The green is next best tot he Sugar Cone! Very full!
 
so you have a mixed in your cab? Green and a clone? I am not familiar with the clone, is that a good idea to mix those to? I am looking at a BB cab, and the GM are the cheapest way to go, but if a mixed thing would work well to, I would be open to that
 
Have you emailed Tim about this? I like the combination......nice mix of highs to lows.....more complex.
 
I just emailed Ear Candy, and the reply was really liking the GM's for the Mod 50. I am fine with that, and who knows, they are cheap enough I could always try something different later if I feel adventerous.
 
Good deal! I may even swap out a clone for another Green eventually....but my BB with Sugars is number one.
