Early 80's Pre Production USA Custom Shop Jackson Soloist
My best buddy, and band mate asked if I could list this for him since he isn't a member on these forums.
He purchased the guitar brand new back in the early 80's
This is one of those guitars that is hard to put down once you start playing it.
As you can see from the photos this guitar was played a lot, and is naturally reliced.
Regardless of the wear & tear, she plays like Butta!
Kahler Tremolo
EMG Pickups
Includes a high quality soft case
This needs to be on the wall at any place that does relicing as an example of “put the sandpaper down. you have finished..no I’m serious, stop already”
Can't put it down once you start playing it huh? Tell ya what, have him ship it to me and I'll give an unbiased review on whether I can actually put it down or not. I'll report back with my findings in 10 years
Looks like Jackson’s own pickups. Their bridge PU, iirc was a variation on a JB…. Scratch that, you’re right, they look like EMG’s. Jackson had pickups that used the same kind of housing but I missed the older pic where the pickups are obviously open. On a closer look you can see what looks like a really worn EMG logo on the newer pic.
