So I downloaded this yesterday and its pretty cool. My only gripe is you cant get the Marshall amps to overdrive like they would in real life... But thats understandable considering this is supposed to be Hendrix tones.
So Ed, which fuzz were you using as your main source of dirt on that last clip you posted? Ive tried cascading fuzz pedals into each other, one with the gain down and volume up, but it gets too messy sounding.
I also thought the rack part of the modelling, specifically the Leslie Speaker sim and Tube Comp were pretty cool. I havent had time to mess with the Parametric EQ or Studio Reverb yet though.
Another thing that suprised me was that the Octavia actually resembled a real Octavia.
The univibe leaves a lot to be desired though...
I wish they would have included some sort of dirt pedal that wasnt a fuzz. I want a nice overdriven Marshall sound but it seems this program is not going to cut it.
Ampltube needs to make an Eric Johnson pack.
