Can't get the dang saddles out, was going to teflon tape the screws. Bridge has gotten so buzzy it's like playing through a crappy fuzzbox in the high end unplugged on the ES. It's coming through the rig at high volumes, worse than ever. I have been chasing down issues in my amps, they needed work, and still have a phantom noise in my rig. I can't see anything bu this as the remaining source of my issues as both amps are fully recapped and I have a new set of speakers.

Either I need to get this sucker apart or I need a new bridge.I was looking at Fabers. This bridge is like a standard tune-o-matic, stamped TABR-! on the bottom except there are little holes on the opposite ends of the screws that the screws seem seated in so they don't fall out. I can watch them turn there but they will not come out of the small holes so that I can remove them.

Chuck this bridge for a new one? Which new one? Or what trick am I missing to get it apart? I have a recording session and a good gig next weekend so I need to git r done ASAP. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.

Ok disregard I guess. Got one of the bridge pieces out with some serious prying.....shit those were tight. Was waiting for the screwdriver to slip and cut the heck out my hand.

Still taking advice on bridges if anyone has any input. My first time dealing with a problem tune-o-matic. Hopefully this quiets it down.

Is it a Gotoh ABR style? Get a Tonepros. I hate those piece of shit ABR's. They're wonky, the clips fly out and the intonation travel for the saddles suck. Upgrade it. Gibsons included. I'm glad the newer Gibsons that come with ABR's have bushings and studs that will take a Nashville style. I go Tonepros for those too. Plenty of saddle travel.

I do think it's a Gotoh. "TABR-1" is what's stamped on the underside. I just got it put back together. Gotta get it tuned up and intonated. If it's still noisy I'm gonna take your advice on the tonepros if I can find something compatible. Thank you very much napalm. I'm sick of chasing ghosts. it's been weeks and about a grand so far. I think this is the last one I needed to exorcise......I hope.
