I assume Edwards is higher quality?

If so, was there ever an Edwards model with a Hipshot? Or any type of Hardtail other than the TOM?

Grassroots is entry level stuff.

They literally made just about every type of guitar conceivable with the Edwards logo with every type of bridge ever made. SRV #1 replicas, Sykes Les Paul, EVH Les Paul, EVH 5150 Kramer, Kerry King Vs and a Dime ML, well you get the idea.

I have one of each. I would place the Grassroots similar to a LTD EC256 and my Edwards more similar to a real Gibson LP standard. The first thing I did when I received the GR was dump the bridge, pickups and pots and the Edwards was everything I could hope for as it came. Just a great take on a LP standard by ESP.

Ok thanks. Was looking at the Edwards LP as they seem to be a bargain and I'm familiar with the neck. Just not sure I want to do a TOM.

What specific models have they made with a hipshot or other fixed bridge? Can't seem to find any on their site.

They have literally made close to a thousand model. Just find one with the options you want used and get it. Most dealers in Japan won't ship to the USA now because of CITES either way good luck with your search.

The big dealers won't but plenty of good Ebay sellers that will. I've bought 2 Sykes LPs, a Greco from 84 and an Edwards from the 90s for less than 500 shipped and they got to Wisconsin within 5 business days. Crazy but true.
