Effect on Iron Maiden Guitar Tone

Seeing that most of us are under lockdown, I thought now would be the time to try to dial in a tone that I love and that has escaped me for years. I am wondering what is the effect on the main distorted guitar tone that Adrian Smith and Dave Murray used during the Powerslave era, especially on songs such as Rime of the Ancient Mariner? Is it a chorus effect or is it a detune or something different? Its that warbly, pumping, breathing effect that I just can't pin-point.

I think there might be a Phase 90 or similar in there. Back in 1984 there really wasn´t that much exotic stuff floating around.
