Effects with Diezel Einstein

First: please forgive me for the bad english
Does anyone have experiences with multieffectboards and one of the Diezel-Amps? I'd like to make my sound more special but don't know nothing about effects... would you suggest to buy a cheap multifxboard to test out which analogeffects i could buy later or would you suggest to buy a good multifx/ are there good enough ones?
I like the Alesis Amp Dock (1) and the Digitech iPB-10 (2), without hearing them, just because of the easy treatment with the iPad. Does anyone know one of them better?
Again I'm an absolutely effect-newbie! Please be kind!

I doubt that these iPad-FX-things will work good with an amp-setup. You probably should consider using something like a lin6 M9 or something like that.

Hi,
I used a TC Nova System some time ago with my Einstein. I'd worked ok. Effect quality is great, but I had some fight - it seemed to suck some of the tone. I switched back to pedals. Currently I run a TC Flashback and a T-Rex Room Mate. Simple and sounds great.

long ago when i first started playing i bought a digitech GNX4. It sounded terrible but it really let me explore the world of effects and taught me alot about them.
