Got my new Egnater Armageddon amp fired it up and discovered that the "mood lights' for the amp panel face, do not work. Took a peek inside through the grill and saw the printed circuit board for it on the front of the amp. The board has a few connectors running the length of it and they are all daisy chained together with wires until you get to the last connector on the left hand side of the board when looking at the amp from the front. There is nothing connected. i suspect someone was asleep during assembly and forgot to connect something. I really don't want to send the amp back for something this simple. Amyone from Egnater monioring the board that can shed some light on this?

Thanks,

Kirk

These guys at Egnater are on it. I sent an e-mail to tehir support are about this issue earlier this morning and they called me back already with things to do to get this fixed. I was told every Armageddon went thought thier QC area for testing before they were shipped and someone must have overlooked plugging in the wire for the lights. Let's see what happens.

wow
best of luck man.

How's the thing sound? Curious about it. I bet that ISP is cool!

I love it so far. I fell like I have really got to know it since I had the thing all wide open last night. The light thing wasn't as simple as plugging in a wire. I traced the connecting wire back to it's source and discovered it wasn't making good contact on the board. Once I go that figured out and got the lights working I was ready to give things a go. This thing is really loud. What I like about it is that you can really dial in a lot of different tones. The various switches and knobs enable you do do that. I am getting used to having two of the channels share the same basic eq section. It makes sense the way it's set up, just never seen it done that way before. The built in ISP is amazing. You go from raging full on shred to deal silent. I love it.

No shit it's loud- 120 watts! I wonder if the new high gain models will have the decimator...

Being able to switch to 60 watts helps a bit. I have an ISO cab at home so I can really open it up. :)

I have coveted an Armegeddon for a very long time--since I first saw them at NAMM '10 I believe.

The Rebel 30 HG looked like a winner too, this year!

To afford all the Egnater amps I want, I may have to sell my body to science. Or at least to science fiction! ;)
