OK+new deal/offer.
Terri is building two MOD50 amp chassis right now. One has the Heyboer transformers and one has a Heyboer power and a custom Mercury output transformer that was made for me long ago. These will both be for sale soon. Since we don't have the head or combo boxes in stock, this is the chance for you to choose any combination of custom Tolex and/or grill cloth in a combo or head version, with or without reverb. Both will come with your choice of any two current D/S modules. Price may vary "slightly" depending on materials, combo speaker etc. so email me for that info. If you are interested, go to www.mojotone.com and see the available Tolex and grill cloth. Anything can be done. Two tone or single color box. You decide. To purchase one of these, I would require $1,000 deposit and the balance upon completion. Takes abut 3 weeks (cabinet lead time) from the time we receive your deposit. Heyboer head will be around 2K without reverb. Combo around $2300 without reverb.

Bruce, there is interest. If I wasn't already heavily invested in your gear, I'd be on top of this. Both of the builds sound awesome to me.

OK..how about this? I've reconsidered. I know many of you already have modules. Just listed on ebay.

Brand new, just built Egnater MOD50 all tube modular heads. Custom all black Tolex with Mojo Black Matrix grill cloth and chrome logo. Sorry, only chassis photos because the custom boxes are being built now. They will look fantastic. Terri is hand building two amps (photo) while we wait for the cabinets to be delivered. Will be ready to ship in a couple of weeks. One has our normal Heyboer transformers. The other has the Heyboer power transformer and a custom Mercury Magnetics output transformer that was custom made for me long ago.

BIN price listed of $1250 is without modules.
Add $375 each for modules. All models are available and are also brand new and built to order.
Built in spring reverb is available for $150 additional.
Footswitch is NOT included. Any simple MIDI pedal like a Rocktron MidiXchange or the Randall Four Button MIDI pedal from Guitar Center or Musicians Friend works perfectly.
Flat $35 shipping is only within the Continental US. Additional shipping cost outside of the US.

You're killing me, Bruce. I'd really like to try the one with the Mercury.

My M4 is still my main rig, but I kinda lost interest after the Mod series seemingly was pushed aside for the offshore stuff and GC...
I would've loved to have seen that E2 and an Egnater power amp come to life but alas all I saw was Rebels and Renegades...
Just my $.02

I have to agree 100% .I hope Egnater will open a custom shop and offer the Mod heads again at the $1200.
I know it bread and butter and comes down to survival in a bad economy but I am tired of the offshore GC line and hope Bruce will come back to the made in USA products or at least run that option like Bogner even if he makes 5 heads a month.

Ised to think of Egnater in the same light as Bogner...now all I can think of are the cheap Chinese amps. :(

I'd really love to see a small head based on the rebel 20 power amp with room for 2 module slots and the 13 pin midi foot switch.

Similar concept to the RM22 but with a master volume rather than the boosts (the boosts were kind of annoying with the absence of a master, so I sold mine for an Rm50 combo).

I found the blending option on the tube power amp in the Rebel to really make a noticible and usuable change to the tone, and strongly think it would fit the modular concept so well, since swapping the power tubes in the bigger amps really gives the module users a great way to tailer the power side as well. Blending power tubes to taste was my favorite aspect of the Reblel 20.
