Not sure how the new Power Amp is shaping out, but I have a request.

How about making the location of the input jacks (preamp in) line up with the side the output
jacks are on M4? Thus, creating the shortest possible distance for patching them together if they are racked one atop the other.

Just a thought.

Since the output jacks in the M4 are in the middle, there's no way they'll be able to do that. The Jacks are gonna have to be like the ones on the Mesa Boogie 20/20...either all on the right or left...just because of lack of real estate w/ 4 power tubes going in there. Even if they were on the extreme left or right...you're not looking at more than a 7-10" cable. That's pretty darn short ;)

It would be awesome if it could have the Rebel's tube mix and watts features

Well, I think the jacks should be closest to where they connect to the internal circuit. If the cable run is internal or external doesn't make a difference, and I'd rather have the shortest possible internal runs.

My M4's jacks are more toward the right than the middle.

Anyway, yeah, I don't know what I was thinking. If you want to throw effects in the mix it throws that off anyway. I was just thinking how neat and clean it would look and didn't really think it through.

M4 is stacked with a RT2/50 and I use a 6 inch with right angle jacks and it works fine.

A line level, low Z signal shouldn't have a problem with an extra inch or two of cable.
