I have to admit I have an RM-100 with the JTM 45 ,plexi ,SL+ modules and frequently play Egnater stuff at GC .Now I'm no kid and own a bunch of higher end boutique amps that sound great ,but I always end up coming back to my Plexi and SL+ modules .Not only do they sound great ,,but it's just a ton of fun throwing in another module in 2 seconds and having a different amp.I'm actually thing of getting the RM modded or getting the M4 or something with the power amp and chucking these boutique amps. The denial part is that this is my cheapest but most fun and great sounding amp and I'm full of guilt for liking it.

Am I nuts ??

I understand where you are coming from. The crowed I grew up around was Mesa, Marshall and fenders. They always looked down on Peavey, Randall, Solid State amps and most racks and preamps.

I am turning a few friends on to Egnater, RT2/50 and my RM100 (being modded for dual). If it wasnt for Bruce designing the RT I would probably never had a Randall.

Honestly the RM100 Mod50 Mod100 M4 are the best Boutique amps and the most affordable.

I have a '86 Mesa MK III that dosent get as much use anymore but I will never get rid of it.

I just recently acquired 2 more Randall's bringing my total to 8 (4 eggs, 4 randys). I have 2 Plexi's myself. I would recommend keeping the boutique stuff. I still have regrets about unloading my Rivera K100 and that was years b4 finding the modular stuff. Still wish I had it.

I never found anything wrong with the Randall modules I had. They Rokt.
