I've tried VHT special 6, Excelsior, and a few other low wattage smaller amps I have found two that seriously impress me

First is my 75 Vibro Champ with a Weber speaker replacement, clean sound is amazingly full and sweet a very little hair on the notes and its a tone monster !!!!

Second is my fairly new Egnater Rebel 20, to be fair I didn't care for the 1x12 matching cab and sent it down the craigs list road, I'm playing it through an Ear Candy Custon closed back 2x12 loaded with Eminence Cannabis Rex speakers, the addition of that cab made the rebel sing its heart out.
The cleans are full and rich and the light overdrive is sweet getting into a bit more drive is where it shines, however again I don't want you to think I have any problems with the clean sounds they are very sweet also !

The ability to have such a HUGE ! range of tone, feel etc... in one little handfull of an amp is flat crazy !
Never thought I could love one of the mini amps, this amp does not sound like it looks, nothing small about its abilities !!!!
Not having reverb has yet to be much of a problem for me, if I ever feel the need a pedal will do.

Seems like when i researched the 20 nearly everyone switches the conversation to the 30, not sure why? the 20 deserves its own discusion !
Excellent little amp !

So it joins two Fender vintage tube amps in my permanent collection of the best of the best !

It takes the stock speakers a bit of time to break in. Mine sounded a little harsh at first, but after a while they got much, much better. I love the whole package and now I run two cabs. I built a BYOC reverb pedal and don't even use it lol.

I have yet to feel a need for reverb, i have a rather large practice room so i get a bit of natural reverb too.
I only have my Bandmaster Reverb's reverb set at 2 and its more than enough in that room.
