Egnater Renegade mach with v30's? Adwise please!

Hi guys!
I've got an Egnater Renegade running trough V30's! The clean ch sounds nice! CH2 I think sound good but a little to harsh. I want it to be more round sounding, creamy kind of way.. !
- Can I blame my V30's?
- Would Celestion G12H's or K100 solve it? I know they're darker sounding, I think it may fit better? (will I loose to much high end with this?)

In this clip it sounds just right I think, this guy is using G12H's ..

I play plain rock, blues and Keith Urban kind of music..

How new are the speakers? If they're new, you'll want to play them for 50+ hours to get them broken in before you decide to keep them or not. It could also be a tube thing. Do some reserch. Replacing the tubes might be cheaper than getting a speaker.

There are plenty of speakers out there. So getting a different sound is a given. I would be inclined to focus on free/cheaper components first. But that's just me...

Tone is so subjective.....
But I really liked the tone you had on that clip with the G12H's.
Can you give us anything with the V30's?
You can help break in those V30's by hooking up a drum machine or stereo receiver.
I've had my Rebel 30 about 6 months now and it seems like I'm finally loosening up the stock speakers.

I think I will try breaking them in a little more! The cab has worked as a demo cab in a store for a while, but probably need more hours to loosen up a little bit! I've seen guys breaking them in by leaving it for several hours with a 6VAC adapter connected to the speaker.. loosening up some of the stiffness! I will experiment a little first before I purchase anything..

I will probably borrow a cab with G12H's from my local guitar store, and just try it out... lisen to the difference myself..
Youtube don't give med proof enough, haha..

I'll see if I can make an audioclip of the PC OS 2x12" with my Zoom H2 recorder..!

Those are actually celestion 65's in that cab. It's an old front loaded ampeg 4x12 and the speakers are well broken in...

Go with CL80's they are Identical to the ELITE 80's that come in the TM212 Egg cab...

It's a match made in HEAVEN!
