.....so far, so good. I am shocked at how well it picks up everything you do, every little noise, pick scrapes, everything. I was shocked actually. Everything is heard with great clarity. I still have yet to fully warm up to the Elite 80s. I need to let them break in before making a judgement call.

Yea, I spent two hours last night playing Iron Maiden since our band is going to cover a song or two, and they sound nice. Still somewhat stiff and congested. If they continue to work out for me, I will have no desire to swap speakers.
 
They will continue to loosen up. It does take a while for those, so keep on whackin' 'em!!
 
After only hours, they are starting to sound creamier and thicker. These speakers may never leave this amp, seriously. Sounded huge. I have the center panel off the cab and it sounds bigger, but a bit softer, not as tight.
 
Yeah man, love that mid panel off the back. Just fantastic........awesome cab!!!

I also discovered my Xotic RC Booster is one of the best pedals i have. I found the lows a touch flubby using the Erect for some of our more chugging songs and EQing the RC fixes that right up.
 
I took the panel off of mine and initially liked it alot. I have since put it back on because I wanted a tighter sound and the room I have it in is a bit dark and boomy already. I love that cab.
