Just had my Egnater Rebel 30 for a week and last night while moving the tube mix knob the amp died. The sound got very thin and distorted and withing 5 secs was completely gone. After switching the amp off and turning it back on it came back to life but the gain channel sounds like crap.

Suspecting a tube (?) is gone or on the way out? How do I contact Egnater via email for warranty?

John or Nate @egnateramps.com. They have replaced bad tubes for me under warranty. This is almost certainly a bad tube. Meanwhile, go out and buy yourself an extra set. You'll get your amp back and you should have spares anyway.

Turns out it was the 12AX7 preamp tube. Luckily I have spares (Electro Harmonix)

On another note I used the amp last night at a gig and it sounded awesome! Both the bass player and drummer commented on my sound too. The gain sounds were exactly what I was looking for and the cleans - well let's just say I still can't get over the cleans in this amp! I used it with a Highway One Strat all evening, I was so pleased with the sounds I didn't even try my Tele Highway One I brought!

Plus it didn't kill my back lugging it in and out of the club!!!

Glad to hear it! I'd still get in touch with Egnater- They will replace a faulty tube under warranty. If that is the case no reason not to take them up on it.

I emailed Nate on Sunday and he responded to me right away Monday morning! They are sending me a replacement tube right away! Talk about service!
