It's in the whole song, mixed with other amps, but it really stands out in the "chorus" and end of the track it sits on top and really comes to life.

Texas mode+p90 LP style guitar.. DRY.

Rough, but you get the idea... let me know what you guys think.

great! I really like the tone and song! The guitar really breathes and sounds quite organic.

Very nice! Just curious, what other amps did you mix it with?

Thanks guys!! We've put alot of work into our music lately so it means alot to hear good things about it. The other amps mixed in the backing tracks are an orange rockerverb 50 and then I added a Randall 'RG 100 SC' mixed in lightly (but it cuts thru) to give it that razor edge treble cut.

The Randall is pre-G2 circa 1998/ any of their newer cheap amps suck in comparison. I picked it up for $125 last year, but I've been searching for one since 2001 or so. It's the best solidstate amp I've ever heard. Great for heavy tones and it records very well. You can tell why Dimebag played Randall if you find one of these gems.

The chorus and end part sitting on top is pure einey thru my orange 412 v30 and P90 pickups. No effects or boosts/drives on the entire song. 100% guitars+amps.

Sorry I kinda went into ramble mode. The Einey is of course the star of the show here. :)

No need to apologize. More detail = better IMO. :) Just more research about mixing the tones from different amps. Thanks for sharing!

I'll trade you the randall for your vh4. :P
But I would miss my baby. ;)

I've never been much of a fan of Randalls. Borrowed one from a friend years back and it sounded damn good for a solid state. Still tho, I wouldn't have thought to mix one in like that. You got a sweet deal for $125!

I agree most Randalls aren't worth the crap in my cat's litter box, but these aren't your average Randall.

So here's the Randall by itself... (wait for the chorus it kicks in hard) No trickery, no pedals (except a homemade tremelo on the intro), no other amps. You sure you don't wanna change your mind?! :P

Whoa! That sounds way better than the one I borrowed. I'll take it off your hands for $125.

$125 and your vh4s?! sounds like a deal to me. Just Kidding I don't want to screw you over like that. I'll throw in a couple guitar picks.

Actually It'd take alot for me to sell it. I looked over 8 years for one of those. I happened to see one on CL locally one day. (which is strange I never look @ CL). I can get a vh4 any day for ~month of work... It took me 8 years to find that randall!

:P
