Einstein 100 watt 1/2 power switch?

I'm debating between getting a 50 watt or 100 watt head, and was wondering if the 100 watt head has a 1/2 power switch? Thanks!

No 1/2 power switch.

You could still pull two EL34s --> same

Well, that depends. On some amps the wattage reduction is done by changing the function of the output power tubes from pentodes to triodes. That also gives you around half output power but also a different sound. I really liked my old 50 Watt Marshall on triode...
